Neoregelia 'Tiger Head'. ('Betty Head' x carcharodon 'Tiger') A hybrid by Ray Coleman. A medium sized plant to about 20 inches across in a leafy rosette with inch and a half wide, fairly stiff leaves, armed with dark spines. The color is lime green with heavy reddish-brown banding below and spotting and banding above. The center does not flush at anthesis. Flowers are light blue with a white throat.
