Neoregelia 'Linda Cathcart'. A very large grower to over 30 inches across with many (40-50) moderately wide leaves, to 4 inches, in a symmetrical rosette. The leaves have a wide, creamy-white medio-picta variegation which is nearly 3/4 of the leaf width, and are heavily marked with concentric banding and some blotching of deep purple-red. The center flushes a reddish-purple at anthesis, spreading out to about 1/3 of the leaf.
