Neoregelia 'Castigado'. What a beauty! This plant is outstanding in every way. The wide leaves are deep green with bold creamy-white central variegation. There is ample concentric banding and dark glazing. As the plant matures, it becomes darker and darker, especially from the leaf tips inward, until the plant is nearly black. The center flush is a deep rich purple.
