Neoregelia 'Forget Me Not'. ('Takemura Princeps' x 'Big Blue' variegated 6458 #1) An RL Frasier hybrid. This is a wide-leafed beauty reaching over 20 inches across with 5 inch wide, red tipped leaves that are firm, glossy and nicely variegated. The mediopicta-type variegation is white, blushing pink in good light. Numerous random spots and blotches of reddish-purple are distributed evenly over the leaves. Bold concentric banding of reddish-purple is concentrated mostly in the throat. A blush of deep pink fills the cup at anthesis and spreads out for a good distance.
